tribe from Namibia. Women & babies color their hair and skin with
red ochre as make up and to protect against the sun and cold.
Kandi carries loini on her back in a leather baby carrier. The
leather ornament on her head shows that she is mairried. On her

Yamin from Myanmar (Burma) is a novice Buddhist nun (Hsi-la-shin).
Buddhist nuns only go round for alms food on 2 pre-rest days. In
her hands is an iron bowl and a plate to collect alms. Yamin wears
the traditional habit: a red skirt, a pink blouse and a pink cover.
