Zofia Zawieruszynski Collectible Dolls

2008 Update! This year's line is fantastic and Zawieruszynski has the awards to prove it! We normally don't go by awards of course when picking out dolls but it is obvious that the results are in and this year's line was outstanding. You will also receive a free color catalogue from us highlighting our 26th Annual doll show this October. All of the 2007vinyl and porcelain dolls have hand-made human hair wigs, mouth blown glass or masterpiece eyes. Some dresses are hand painted by Zawieruszynski and some are hand-decorated with rope or beautifully embroidered with seed beads. All the dolls include accessories such as porcelain or leather boots, shoes or sandals, hand-crafted purses, hand-knitted hats, sweaters and socks. Every doll even wears jewelry made from porcelain, wood or freshwater pearls. Each doll is also signed, numbered and comes with a certificate.

About the dolls: Zawieruszynski vinyl dolls have been designed, perfectly modeled, hand-painted and carefully crafted and clothed in their studio in the U.S. for years. We mainly carried their small ltd. edition original work in porcelain in the nineties in the $1500.00 to $2000.00 price point. In the last five years they have expanded into an amazing selection of reasonable vinyl and porcelain dolls. We have carried them but un-fortunately haven't had them all up on our site! The vinyl dolls are still assembled in the United States by Zofia and Henry themselves. Their work is reasonably priced & a good value. We are taking orders now! If the doll is not in yet, a deposit of 25% down confirms your order and the balance is due when the doll comes in. We will work with you on ship dates. More about the artists: Zofia and Henry first caught our eye at the Idex "95" Doll Show winning an award for "Zuzanna." Zofia was educated at various schools in Poland to broaden her talents in sculpting, costume design, anatomy and painting. Zophia began creating puppets and dolls in 1969 and later opened a design business. This husband and wife team worked with with dolls in cloth, cernit and other mediums for many years. In 1988 Zophia and Henry moved to America, settled in Minnesota and continued to work on creating gorgeous, small limited edition dolls. The couple have won numerous awards including Idex "95", Idex "96", Doll of the Year "96" nomination, and the Doll of Excellence "96" nomination award. They also received two nominations for awards of excellence in 1997, 1998 and 1999 and many many other Doty and Dolls Award of Excellence awards in from 2000 thru 2005.
