Laura Scattolini

New for 2008 -  Currently we are sold out of Laura's work but she will be hopefully participating in our 26th annual doll show coming this October. If you are looking for new work by Laura make sure to email kmalone@dollery.com to get on our mailing list for updates on her work.  Be sure also to email us your info to get a free copy of our 24 page full color doll show catlaogue mailing list October highlighting Laura and over 40 other artists work.

We were very pleased and honored to have Laura participate in our last few doll shows. She has amazing talent and we have followed her work now for well over 15 years since it first visited the United States! Very early on a store local to us "Pick and Poke" in Hudson Mass exclusively represented Laura so we were unable to obtain her work. Laura later  began participating in Artists United One of a kind shows and we continued to see her work grow. Often, there would be that one piece though that we just would have to have but we didn't always run fast enough to get! We knew the "look" we loved and finally in 2004 we convinced Laura to participate in our Annual Doll Show and create pieces especially for the Dollery. (The Dollery show is the longest running multi-artist doll show in the United States). This year will be our 26th year and we hope Laura will participate once again. Many of you know this Italian artist will be known in hundred's of year's as one of the most famous artists in our century. These three  pieces below are simply exquisite. We especially fell in love with the "Guardian Fairy" and "Wonder" (new for last year).  We will also be happy to send you prior year's catalogues for bio information. If you would like further detailed bio info on Laura please email kmaloen@dollery.com as we have not posted it to this page yet.

Please email kmalone@dollery.com for high resolution photos of these dolls. The smaller photos do not do them justice! You may also call 800-447-Doll out of state or 781-447-6677 in state Ma for further info or for order details.

For You wears a very simple soft pink dress in piquet fabric.  Her bear is dressed in the same fabric.  She comes complete with a very light soft stool made by Laura covered with pure silk and trim.  Laura told me she does not like the "new" look of a doll and did not want the dress ironed as it was designed to stay very close to the body of the doll.  Her shoes are Italian leather and scuffed!  You can see her little teeth just a bit.
