Wendy Lawton -  2008 Update - We no longer carry Wendy's work. We still love her work and may carry it in the future. About five years ago Wendy decided to deal with a handful of dealers as she decreased her edition sizes significantly. We hadn't carried her work for sometime at that point. We still love them and again, we may carry them in the future.  We did carry them for over 20 years. Although we don't deal normally in the secondary market; if you have any interest in older dolls let us know.

Wendy Lawton's logo is "In a world of change, quality endures".  This pretty much sums up her beautiful dolls.  She is a wonderful artist who really researches the dolls she creates.  Every doll has a story and the dolls comes to life thru Wendy! Be sure to read Wendy's quotes about each doll to get the true picture of the authenticity of each doll. Notice that Wendy has created different series for her dolls. Wendy creates all porcelain or a combination of wood and porcelain dolls.  The wood dolls allow greater posability. All are small limited editions under 750. Most are editions under 250. Notice the attention to detail not only in the sculpting and clothing of the doll but even in the accessories.  Wendy has continued to work on her Connoisseur Collection. The Connoisseur Collection continues to be created in the United States under Wendy's watchful eye. These are the small limited edition dolls she has always created.  Be sure not to miss "The Falconer" from the Royalty Collection, and all the dolls in the "Children's Literary Series" for 1999. The attention to detail and the authenticity of each doll is remarkable. Each doll in the "Children's Literary Series" comes with it's own Autographed copy of the book it comes from. Every year Wendy also creates a Collectors Guild Members-Only Doll. This year her name is "Dreaming of Dolly". We pay your club fee membership if you order the doll thru us!  Be sure to see the details below. The "Childhood Classics Series" has always been a popular one and this year's "Anne of Green Gables" is adorable.   The full 1999 line is listed below. Please don't confuse the Connoisseur Collection with the new Gallery Collection that Wendy has created this year.  These dolls are in lower price ranges. These dolls are mass produced outside the US in editions of 2500 and retail in price under $100.00. They are not featured here yet but be sure to e-mail us if you are interested.

WENDY LAWTON personally appeared at the 1999, 17th Annual Doll show and we wish to thank her very much for attending. Wendy has attended Dollery shows since the early eighties. Click here for the October 1999 video with her at our show! We no longer carry Wendy's work
