2008 Update! Susan has a beautiful collection of dolls for 2008. She has done three new edition dolls. She is also currently working on some very special one of a kind sculpts for our 26th annual doll show! Susan is inspired by photographs of real children. We were honored to have Susan share her most private collection of children that she inspired by and we chose our favorites! We can't wait to see them in doll form! Susan is doing very small editions and more and more one of a kind work. These are going to be one of a kind sculpts not to be confused with her "Classic Krey" dolls she did a few years ago.

We have updated our site with only the three edition dolls at this point. We are proud to be one of Susan's biggest dealers in the country for over 17 years. We were thrilled that she introduced her very first "Classic Krey" doll collection at our 2002 doll show and has participated and attended in 15 of our last 16 doll shows including our 2007 show. We are looking forward to working with her again this year for the October 2008 show. Susan is amazing in that she can create such a wide range of different expressions in her dolls year after year.

Susan Krey is famous for her "Krey babies" which have been among the "cover girls" on the national magazines and at the tops of the Doty and Dolls Award of Excellence lists for years. She is a world renowned doll artist who is best known for her work in wax over porcelain which seems to capture the realistic warm glow of real children. Susan was born and raised in London and she currently resides in Washington state. Her love of bringing up her children sparked an innate creativity in her as far back as 1981 when she began creating beautiful small limited edition dolls in porcelain and wax over porcelain. Susan joined our DOLLERY team in 1992 and has attended every doll show since except for2001 due to the Sept. 11th tragedy. We will have her at this year's 26th Annual doll show again this October 2007.

Limited edition of 5 of the sculpt. 28" seated wax over porcelain with cloth body. Glass eyes and human hair. Three 5" resin fairies hand painted by Susan are included.

Missy Woodland is dressed in a one of a kind delicate lemon chiffon silk dress with glass bugle beads. The edge has been frayed. The under dress is also silk with a full petal hem. Her crown is an antique German wedding head dress that Susan had been saving for years.
