Fairy Moon
SOLD This fairy is a full body sculpt on a moon. Diane textured and painted it an iridescent pink so it shimmers. Diane designed and embroidered the dress and then added Swarovski crystals. Look at all the colors in the wings! The piece is 15 inches from the base to the top of the moon. |

| This piece was Custom ordered by a customer who wanted to celebrate her daughter's Turkish heritage. Diane did extensive research to get the costume just right. We appreciate the amount of time and work it must have taken to get authentic fabrics and accessories in the right scale for a doll this size. | |||||||||
|
|||||||||
| Using her embroidery machine, Diane designed the embroidery pattern for her coat. The fabric is silk Jacquard and the pants are iridescent silk chiffon. Her head piece is metallic lace embellished with brass beads and brass filigree findings. Diane also did alot of this embroidery herself with her machine to get the scale just right. | |||||||||

| “Queen Alice” is absolutely a Dollery favorite. She is seated on a mushroom hand made by Diane and she comes complete with her adorable mouse! Her crown is made of polymer clay. The base has the quote from the book “Alice Through the Looking Glass.” “I’ve a sceptre in my hand, I’ve a crown on my head. Let the looking-glass creatures, whatever they be, come and dine with the Red Queen, the White Queen and me.” When Alice becomes queen she is wearing a white dress. Diane designed the dress by finding photos and drawings of girls dresses from the 1860’s when the books were written. The dress is made of silk & French lace. | |||||||||

This
wonderful theme is “Alice w/the White Rabbit” designed entirely by
Diane. She embroidered the dolls pinafore with the White Rabbit. She
also designed and embroidered the rabbit’s Red Queen uniform. This
“Alice” is either free standing or she can be on her base. The base
says ‘Herald, read the accusation!’ said the King. On this the White
Rabbit blew three blasts on the trumpet, and then unrolled the
parchment scroll, and read as follows..... Her stockings are a tiny
red and white stripe and her dress is silk.” The rabbit is even a
working puppet marionette!

| This beautiful Flamenco dancer wears a red silk dress with many feet of ruffle. The shawl is embroidered with roses and black fringe. Her fan is covered with black lace and a red polymer clay flower adorns her hair. The dress was made using an authentic Flamenco dress pattern that Diane reduced down to the right size. | ||||||||||||||||||||
