Surya (above) by Bets  - Ltd. 5 - 26.5"/67cm - Surya from  Tibet wears her overcoat only on one sleeve.  The Amdowa are used to the cold.  She wars a beautiful emroidered bonnet with a lambskin brim, a jersey sweater and pants and leather laced shoes.  In her hand she carries a basket.

Cali  (above) by Bets - Ltd. 5 - 25.5"/65cm - Big sister Cali from Namibia wears several bead decorations in her hair.  Around her waist several wraps, a knitted vest and a shawl around her shoulders.  She wars multiple red strings of beads around her neck.  Taking Orders now! Goiti  (above) by Bets - Ltd. 5 - 18"/45cm - Goiti from Namibia wears a leather loincloth.  On his back he carries a leather quiver with arrows. Kandi and Loini  (above) by Amy - Ltd. 5 - 19.5"/49.5cm  Kandi & Loini & Sihili belong to the Himba tribe from Namibia.  Women & babies color their hair and skin with red ochre as make up and to protect against the sun and cold.  Kandi carries loini on her back in a leather baby carrier.  The leather ornament on her head shows that she is mairried.  On her necklace hangs a cowry shell.- Taking Orders now! Sihili (above) by Amy - Ltd. 5 - 14"/35cm - Sihili from Namibia wears her hair in 2 thick braids.  She wears iron ornaments as a necklace and several leather straps on her arms, ankles and neck.  Most of Himba clothing is made of goat or cow skin decorated with iron ornaments.  Taking Orders now! Yamin (above) by Amy - Ltd. 5 - 8"/20cm - Yamin from Myanmar (Burma) is a novice Buddhist nun (Hsi-la-shin).  Buddhist nuns only go round for alms food on 2 pre-rest days.  In her hands is an iron bowl and a plate to collect alms.  Yamin wears the traditional habit: a red skirt, a pink blouse and a pink cover.  An orange cloth protects her bald shaven head against the sun.  Taking Orders now!
