Last year we had work from  Gerda's wonderful  Poetry collection. Gerda only creates approx. 6  to 8 dolls a year currently. We have been thrilled to acquire many of these amazing works of art. We have just updated Gerda's page with dolls. Gerda's  dolls are made of paper clay and have hand painted eyes and mohair. Gerda started making larger dolls in 2010 when she debuted her  "Passion for Fashion" dolls.  We carried some of Gerda's smaller dolls in 2003 and 2004 and we also have one little Asian doll from her not shown here from a dealer that has closed shop. Bio info directly from Gerda - Hi I am Gerda, have the Dutch nationality but now living in Spain in a beautiful valley with vineyards. An area full of inspiration for all my artistic activities. Being a fashion designer I turned to doll art in 1988. My introduction into the United States started with an article in the May 1990 issue of Doll Reader. Since then I experienced great appreciation for my talent, craftsmanship, artistry and wide creativity.
